KS3 · Years 7–9
KS3 maths classes
KS3 classes follow a mastery-based scheme of work aligned to the UK curriculum. Students build a secure understanding of core concepts, develop reasoning skills, and practise applying maths in different contexts.
The ground covered across KS3 includes number and place value, fractions, decimals and percentages, ratio and proportion, algebraic notation and equations, angles and shape, area and volume, and handling data. Each topic is taught until it is secure rather than raced through to a deadline.
These classes suit a student who is coping at school but losing confidence, one who has gaps from a disrupted year, or a home-educated student who wants structure and the company of other learners. Years 7 to 9 are where GCSE either gets easier or harder, so this is cheap ground to hold.

GCSE maths classes online
KS4 classes focus on GCSE topics and exam technique. Lessons include exam-style questions and revision-focused practice to build confidence under timed conditions.
Content spans the GCSE maths syllabus: number, algebra, ratio and proportion, geometry and measures, probability, and statistics, across both Foundation and Higher pathways. Alongside the content, classes work on the things that quietly cost marks — reading the question properly, showing method, managing time across a paper, and knowing when a wrong-looking answer means checking rather than panicking.

Neither one is the upgrade. They solve different problems, and plenty of families run both — a weekly class for momentum, with 1-to-1 lessons dropped in when something specific needs unpicking.

How big are the classes?
Small enough that every student gets spoken to by name and has room to ask questions. Places are limited for that reason, so a weekly spot is worth holding once you have one.
Where do classes run?
Online, live, with shared slides. Gabriella is based in Birmingham and teaches students across the UK, so location is no barrier — a laptop and a quiet corner is the whole setup.

Which exam board do GCSE classes follow?
Classes teach the GCSE maths content and technique that the major boards share, rather than being built around one board's papers. If your child is entered with a specific board, mention it when you book and Gabriella will flag anything board-specific worth knowing.
What if my child misses a week?
Every class opens with a recap of the previous topic, so a missed week is not a hole to fall into. Send a message and Gabriella will share what was covered.
