This piece was from a picture taken at the Cheltenham races. It really captures the movement, speed and energy of the races. Its a perfect piece for all the equestrian enthusiasts out there!
It was painted using Arteza gouache paints. I chose the media of gouache because it perfectly captures the balance between vibrancy but can also be watered down to create the movement and speed of the race.
