1. Service Provided
Tutoring by Gabriella provides 1-to-1 and group mathematics tuition via Zoom. The tutor will prepare and deliver lessons tailored to the student’s needs. While every effort will be made to support the student’s academic progress, no specific grade or result can be guaranteed.
2. Scheduling & Cancellations
Lessons are arranged at mutually agreed times. Parents/guardians (or adult students) must give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. In unforeseen circumstances, lessons may be rescheduled at the tutor’s discretion. If the student fails to attend within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, or no cancellation notice is given at least 24 hours in advance, the lesson will be charged in full.
3. Payment Terms
Payments must be made after each lesson according to the due date on your invoice. Payments are to be made via bank transfer. If three consecutive lessons remain unpaid, the tutor reserves the right to pause all lessons until payment is received in full.
4. Communication
Lesson scheduling, cancellations, and questions should be made via WhatsApp 07984923706 or email [email protected]. The tutor will aim to respond to all messages and emails within 2–3 working days.
5. Safeguarding & Confidentiality
Students under 18 must have a parent/guardian aware of and in agreement with the tutoring arrangement. All personal data and lesson records will be kept confidential and used only for educational purposes. If 1-to-1 lessons are recorded for revision purposes or student reference, prior consent will be obtained. However, group classes may be recorded if a student who has paid is unable to attend, and in such cases, students and parents will be notified at the start of the lesson.
6. Lesson Environment
Students must have a working internet connection, camera, and microphone for online lessons. A quiet, well-lit space is recommended for effective learning.
7. Intellectual Property
All teaching materials provided are for personal use only and may not be shared, reproduced, or distributed without the tutor’s permission.
8. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate ongoing lessons with one week’s written notice. The tutor reserves the right to terminate lessons immediately if payment terms are not met or if there is inappropriate conduct.
9. Agreement
By booking lessons with Tutoring by Gabriella, the parent/guardian (or adult student) agrees to these Terms & Conditions. The tutor, Gabriella Ghent, will provide services in accordance with these terms.
